This real-time strategy war game lets you control one of the two campaigns: the Allied campaign consisting of countries including America, Germany, Great Britain, France, and Korea, while the Soviet Union campaign consists of countries Russia, Cuba, Libya and Iraq. The main goal of the game is to protect your war base while trying to destroy your enemies’ war base. In this game, you can deploy a variety of tanks, troops and even have your own naval war base. With different tactics and strategies, and weapons of mass destruction, this game is harder than you think it is. EA is now giving Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 for free which you can download along with its expansion Yuri’s Revenge at http://cncnet.org/red-alert-2.

● RollerCoaster Tycoon Deluxe

RollerCoaster Tycoon Deluxe is probably still the best game from Atari. It was released on the year 1999, and had received two expansion packs till then. This game lets you manage a theme park, and lets you construct a range of rides from carousel, haunted house, bump cars, log flumes to a variety of roller coasters. The main goal is different from each theme park you handle; this includes increasing the numbers of visitors or increasing your Park Value. Along with this, you must tend the needs of your visitors and make sure that they enjoy their time on your theme park. By keeping them happy, your visitors will spend more money on the rides thus increasing your Park Value as well. RollerCoaster Tycoon Deluxe is available on Steam for only ‎$5.99.

● Defense of the Ancients (DotA)

Of course, nowadays, DotA 2 has gained all the popularity and good reviews from game critics but come on, if not for the original version the game won’t even exists. Remember the good old times when you’re playing DotA on Frozen Throne with its simpler graphics. Oh god, how I miss the old times! Defense of the Ancients was actually an expansion of Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne. Like DotA 2, the player controls a hero from either two teams consisting of five members, the Scourge and the Sentinel. The main goal is to destroy the enemy’s structures and its “Ancient”. There are 112 heroes to choose from in DotA, and unlike in its successor, building items are harder and secret shops are even harder to find, which makes this the real game of the heroes. You can still buy WarCraft III online.

● Half Life: Counter Strike

More popularly known as Counter Strike, this first-person shooter game was all the rage back in 2000. It was released by Valve Corporation and spawned a franchise. In this game, a player can pick one of the two sides, the terrorists and the counter-terrorists. Aside from shooting each other, Counter Strike has three other objectives to finish the game which differs from the map you use. These objectives include Bomb Defusal, Hostage Rescue and VIP Escort. The player can pick one of the eight different default characters at the start of the game. The winner is determined depending on which team was successful on the objective, and the stats depend on the number of kills and deaths.

● Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

Aside from playing Sims from time to time, I was also addicted to playing Grand Theft Auto: Vice City due to the number of cheat codes I know in the game. It was released on October 2003 for Microsoft Windows, and lets you play a third-person perspective set in a fictional city known as Vice City hence the title. The gameplay follows the story of a Mafia hitman by the name Tommy Vercetti, who just released from the prison, and is now seeking out who’s responsible for his imprisonment while building a criminal empire of his own.

It’s 2016, yes, and I know all of us couldn’t be more excited to see the newest game to be released in the market with their lifelike rendered qualities and challenging gameplay.
