The God of War series has been a massive success so far and it\u2019s developers want to keep up that momentum with its latest iteration, God of War, God Of War Ragnar\u00f6k.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This title will be set a few years after the events of the previous features Kratos and Atreus journeying to each of the Nine Realms in search of answers as they prepare for the prophesied battle that will end the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As father and son, Kratos and Atreus venture deep into the Nine Realms in search of answers as Asgardian forces prepare for war. Along the way they will explore stunning, mythical landscapes, gather allies from across the realms and face fearsome enemies in the form of Norse gods and monsters. As the threat of Ragnar\u00f6k grows ever closer, Kratos and Atreus find themselves choosing between the safety of their family and the safety of the realms…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a deadly world\u2014the freezing winds of Fimbulwinter have come to Midgard, making survival for Kratos, Atreus, and Mimir in the Norse wilds even more challenging than before. While the last game built an enormous amount of trust and understanding between father and son, there is still a great deal of complexity in their interactions \u2013 especially after the revelation of Atreus\u2019 Giant heritage and the hidden prophecy only Kratos saw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mysterious Atreus figure is desperately curious. Like most young people, he wants to understand who he is more than anything. In this case, he wants to understand who he could be. The mystery of Loki\u2019s role in the upcoming conflict is something that Atreus cannot let go of. He wants to keep his family safe, but Atreus also doesn\u2019t want to stand by and do nothing while conflict consumes the Nine Realms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main character, Kratos, is still bearing the knowledge of his past mistakes, wants to spare Atreus the bloody lessons he learned from his conflict with gods. He wants to keep his son safe, above all, and their confrontation with Baldur has vindicated the belief that only tragedy will come from further entanglements with the Aesir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, Kratos and Atreus will have to make a choice about which path they will take. Whatever they choose will define the fate of all those living in the Nine Realms as Ragnar\u00f6k approaches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Behind the scenes, Sony Interactive Entertainment is excited to debut the latest campaign to support the launch of God Of War Ragnar\u00f6k. This title will bring together an iconic cast of entertainment and sport personalities, along with their talented kids, into one interesting parent-child meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LeBron and Bronny James, John and Ella Travolta, and a Kratos-inspired Ben Stiller and his son Quin star in \u201cAll Parents Can Relate,\u201d a humorous take on the most relatable aspect of parenthood: no parent gets it right all the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAll Parents Can Relate\u201d draws parallels to God of War Ragnar\u00f6k from an unexpected angle; a group of individuals who know that we are all works in progress. Whether they\u2019re a parent unintentionally embarrassing their child in public or preparing them for a prophesied epic battle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAll Parents Can Relate\u2019 is playfully irreverent, which represents a core tenet of the PlayStation brand,\u201d said Eric Lempel, SVP, Global Head of Marketing, Sony Interactive Entertainment. \u201cBen Stiller dressed up as Kratos, a surprising mix of iconic talent, perfect comedic timing, and the reactions from the kids \u2013 all of these elements work together to produce a piece of creative that is unconventional, unexpected, and uniquely PlayStation.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAfter consulting with my children and their friends, I was informed that this was the biggest game in the world of gaming and that I should definitely consider getting involved and I\u2019m glad I did,\u201d said John Travolta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When asked about what it was like to work side-by-side with their children, LeBron James shared, \u201cFor Bronny and I, the creative on this one was a perfect fit for our personalities and we got to have some fun with it. Being on set with some of the most iconic actors of our time, balancing the improv and the timing of it all was different than anything we\u2019ve done together. Watching him nail his lines so effortlessly and feed off the other incredible talent was pretty surreal. Another proud dad moment for me, for sure.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe tend to joke around a lot and had actually never really acted together \u2014 and to have all our kids there doing this felt really organic,\u201d Stiller said when asked about sharing this experience with his son. \u201cQuin and I are basketball fans so it was a kick to improv with Bronny and LeBron. I think Quin and Ella and Bronny all did great \u2014 they seem to not have any trouble taking us down.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The game\u2019s antagonists Thor will be voiced by Ryan Hurst (Opie in Sons Of Anarchy) while Richard Schiff (The West Wing, The Good Doctor) is cast for Odin. But because of Kratos\u2019 actions at the end of the previous game, the once-ally-turned-enemy Freya has sworn vengeance for the death of her son, Baldur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Freya isn\u2019t just a terrifyingly powerful user of Vanir magic, but also she\u2019s a formidable warrior in her own right. Enraged by Kratos\u2019 evasion of justice by her hand, Freya will turn every weapon at her disposal towards her son\u2019s killer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also suffering the loss of his sons and half-brother, Thor\u2019s legendary bloodlust and wrath will be aimed at Kratos and Atreus. Referred to disparagingly by Mimir as the \u201cBiggest Butchering Bastard in the Nine Realms,\u201d Thor earned his title as one of the most powerful Aesir gods by wiping out nearly all the Giants at Odin\u2019s command.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

God Of War Ragnar\u00f6k will bring you a more diverse, beautiful, and mysterious variety of locations than in any other God of War game!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
