That&#8217;s just 5 secs of PWII &#8211; a sequel to an fps retro shooter now featuring 8-sided sprites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The upcoming game Project Warlock II is a retro shooter with non-stop action, blood spattered pixels flying everywhere, epic rock and synth soundtrack, fully new, atmospheric sound design and is improving upon every aspect of the original game. With DNA of the retro classics Blood and Hexen running through the veins of both games, Project Warlock II is looking at Quake where Project Warlock\u2019s eye was on Doom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Project Warlock II picks up right after the events in the first game. Set in three explosive episodes, this title features three playable Warlock characters &#8211; Palmer, Urd and Kirsten &#8211; all disciples of Warlock from the original title. With their master nowhere to be found, the Disciples of Warlock set out to investigate the demonic invasion that shook the very foundations of their realms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cyberpowergaming.com\/w\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/image-18.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-22765\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Not only that, but each of the disciples is a master of their own discipline, and has his or her reasons to find Warlock and confront their old master. Each chapter features distinct settings, a menagerie of deadly monsters, and bosses hulking in the darkness. FPS players can look forward to more secrets, upgrades, pickups, jumping, strafing, and trigger-happy action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this game you must shoot, burn, cut and blast your way through huge, sprawling levels filled with demonic hordes in this sequel with totally revamped visuals, the same visceral gunplay and relentless tempo with a pulsing and riffing soundtrack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"nv-iframe-embed\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Project Warlock II [PC] Meet the Demons Gameplay Trailer\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/1I6eF2i_gDw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Project Warlock II will be released in Early Access on Steam and GOG in June 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The game will offer the first single-player chapter out of the planned three, each featuring its own playable protagonist. In June you will be stepping into the shoes of Palmer, who will need to defend his home castle from an onslaught of invading demons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The game\u2019s developer revealed that each chapter of Project Warlock II will consist of 6 huge, sprawling levels up to 10 times bigger than any individual level in the original game. The game\u2019s world evolved into vertical, three-dimensional, multi-floored structures, platforms, and buildings that literally elevate the gameplay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Early Access stage of Project Warlock II is planned for about 1 year. The developers will gather feedback and refine gameplay while working on the remaining chapters of the game. Specific release date in June 2022 will be revealed soon. A playable demo is already available on both PC storefronts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cyberpowergaming.com\/w\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/image-19.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-22766\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Each of the areas from the first game received a significant overhaul<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MAGIC: PWII\u2019s magic is a reinterpreted system where each of the Warlock\u2019s will have their own dedicated set of skills operating on cooldowns to support gun or magic-play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>WEAPONS: Each of the Warlocks carries a different arsenal based on their personas with branching upgrades resulting in 20+ weapons for each of the Warlocks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MONSTERS: Adding another layer to the behavior of monsters results in them now jumping, running, holding back when needed, hopping, spinning and using each of the different attacks as needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>VISUALS: Total overhaul of the visuals resulting in sprites that now have 8 sides to PW\u2019s 2. That\u2019s literally twice as much. Talk about value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>VERTICALITY: Literally adding more room to the levels as per players\u2019 feedback Project Warlock II offers huge, sprawling and multi leveled areas that are 5-6 times bigger that any of the levels of the first game.
