Warhammer Underworlds: Online – Warband: Stormsire’s Cursebreakers

When Warhammer Underworlds: Online debuted almost exactly one year ago (April 21, 2021), it quickly gained a dedicated following who appreciated its highly strategic and nuanced gameplay. Not only has it managed to carve out its own niche (it\u2019s one of the only card and dice games), but it also features the exciting Warhammer IP\u2014and does a great job at it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Warhammer Underworlds: Online\u2019s developers, Steel Sky Productions, have recently released a new DLC Warband, along with a price adjustment, for their card and dice-based tactical extravaganza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new DLC pack in question is called Warhammer Underworlds: Online – Warband: Stormsire’s Cursebreakers, and introduces\u2026you guessed it\u2014 Stormsire’s Cursebreakers, a trio of badass battle mages. Since all three of these mages are so powerful (elite level), there are only three of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s really cool about this new Warband is that all three of them are also spellcasters, allowing them to make use of a wide range of new cards and abilities. Stormsire\u2019s Cursebreakers are available now at a price point of $6.99, which is pretty reasonable for what you get.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are some of the features of Warhammer Underworlds: Online – Warband: Stormsire’s Cursebreakers the DLC (via Steam) below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Battle-mages with mastery over howling storm magic who has been sent to investigate the curse of Shadespire. Stormsire\u2019s Cursebreakers are a small, elite Warband. All three are wizards, letting them make use of special spell cards. Unlock this Warband and play as Stormsire\u2019s Cursebreakers in Warhammer Underworlds: Online now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FIGHTERS<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stormsire and his two companions inspire when they successfully cast a spell. Prepare your decks!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Averon Stormsire is able to attack from a range \u2013 use this to your advantage and keep your distance!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ammis Dawnguard and Rastus the Charmed have the ability to empower their attacks!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TIPS AND TRICKS<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to their excellent offensive abilities, spellcasting, range, and great durability, you may employ both offensive and defensive strategies while playing Stormsire\u2019s Cursebreakers!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With every member of your Warband being a wizard, you\u2019ll want to make sure to take as many spell gambits as possible to inspire them and take out the enemy!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like their brethren in the Farstriders and Steelheart\u2019s Champions, Stormsire\u2019s Cursebreakers have a range of powerful upgrades available, allowing you to turn your chosen fighter into an unstoppable juggernaut \u2013 if you\u2019ve got the Glory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This DLC pack is accompanied by a big update for the base game, most notably a permanent price reduction to $9.99 USD. This price includes Steelheart\u2019s Champions and Magore\u2019s Fiends as starter Warbands, with all the others supplied as DLC packs for $6.99 USD each. Players that bought the game before February 10th gain access to a set of exclusive skins for all the existing Warbands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What I really like about this Warband is that they not only offer a lot of durability, but they reach pretty far across the battle maps with their spells, and when they are engaged at closer ranges, they hold up pretty well against melee attacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Warhammer Underworlds: Online has some great graphics so you’ll need a pretty beefy gaming PC or gaming laptop in order to play it at a decent framerate. Therefore, you may just want to invest in a superior gaming rig:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
