According to them, the reason why the game\u2019s release date was pushed back to three months was because of its currently full launch window.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">As explained by Frogwares community manager Sergey Oganesyan, the decision was made because the studio wanted to release The Sinking City in a less crowded time frame. With so many great games coming this March, the studio believed that it will be a wiser move to delay the game\u2019s release.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\"><i><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">[youtube https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=V-NE5AWdGlc&amp;w=560&amp;h=315]<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">Oganesyan also explained that the studio will use the additional time to continue further developing and optimizing The Sinking City, as to enhance the gaming experience it will offer to its players.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">Furthermore, this will also allow the studio to further market the game and show people what sets it apart from other mystery-thriller games in the market.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">For those of you who haven&#8217;t heard of the title, The Sinking City is a mystery adventure game set in a damp and misty town of Oakmont, Massachusetts during the 1920s. In this game, the player controls a private investigator who travels to the city searching to cure his creeping insanity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">The Sinking City will be released on Microsoft Windows <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cyberpowerpc.com\/category\/gaming-pcs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">gaming PC<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One gaming consoles.
