And in this list, we\u2019re naming the best action and sci-fi games that gamers have been waiting to be released for years — including the new Star Wars game from EA and ReSpawn Entertainment, and CD Projekt\u2019s Cyberpunk 2077.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gears 5 is the upcoming sixth installment in the Gears of War series and is scheduled to be released either on the third or fourth quarter of 2019. It was developed by The Coalition and published by Microsoft Studios for Windows 10 PCs and <\/span>gaming laptops<\/span><\/a>, as well as Xbox One. The game focus on the story of Kait Diaz, an outsider of the Locust Descent, who\u2019s on a journey to unveil the secret of the Locust ancestry and her family.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cyberpunk 2077 is the upcoming sci-fi RPG video game by CD Projekt, which was adapted from the 1988 tabletop game Cyberpunk 2020. Cyberpunk 2077 is set in the open world of Night City, California, where the player fills the role of a mercenary called V. The player can fully customize the character\u2019s appearance, including the technological advancements in its body to reach its prominence. The game is said to offer three character classes namely NetRunner, Techie, and Solo.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Surge 2<\/b><\/h2>\n

The Surge 2 is an upcoming sci-fi brawler video game inspired by Dark Souls, which was developed by Deck13 and published by its partner Focus Home Entertainment. In the game, players can battle against robotic and human enemies using their futuristic exoskeletons, each uniquely designed with weapons and inhuman abilities. The game is said to take place in Jericho City, a futuristic urban environment filled with artificial vegetation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Wasteland 3<\/b><\/h2>\n

Wasteland 3 is the upcoming sequel and next installment in the Wasteland series, set in the post-apocalyptic freezing wastelands of Colorado. According to its developers, the player will take control of the last surviving member of the ranger squad called Team November. The game will feature a squad-based RPG gameplay which will showcase turn-based combat similar to JRPGs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order<\/b><\/h2>\n

The Star Wars game everyone was waiting for, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is rumored to be finally released on December 2019. The game is said to tell an original Star Wars story that revolves around a surviving Padawan, with a timeline set after the events of Star Wars: Episode 3 – Revenge of the Sith. Star Wars Jedi was developed by ReSpawn Entertainment and is published by EA Games.<\/span><\/p>\n
