Earlier this month, Riot teased fans with a trailer featuring the fallen warrior-god Aatrox. The trailer was enough for fans to assume that Aatrox will be getting a champion update. Lo and behold, Riot finally delivers and reveals us the new changes on Aatrox abilities.<\/span><\/p>\n

ABILITIES<\/h2>\n

PASSIVE – Deathbringer Stance<\/h3>\n

\"Gaming<\/p>\n

Aatrox\u2019s passive skill allows him to gain an increased range on his next basic attack and deals a percent of its target\u2019s maximum health as its damage. It also significantly reduces all healing and shielding on the target for a few seconds.<\/span><\/p>\n

Q – The Darkin Blade<\/h3>\n

\"Aatrox<\/p>\n

Upon activation, Aatrox swings his greatsword up to three times, with each cast increasing in damage and impacts a unique area of effect. It can also hit with the edge of the blade, which hits enemies at the farthest end of the first two casts and then third on the center which deals more damage and briefly knocks them up.<\/span><\/p>\n

W – Infernal Chains<\/h3>\n

\"W<\/p>\n

With this skill, Aatrox smashes the ground, dealing damage to the first enemy it hits and slows them for a few seconds. If it hits a champion or more massive monster, they are chained to the impact area.<\/span><\/p>\n

If the chained enemy remains in the impact area for a few seconds, they are automatically dragged and take damage again.<\/span><\/p>\n

E – Umbral Dash<\/h3>\n

\"Aatrox's<\/p>\n

Umbral Dash possesses both passive and active effect. The passive effect of this skill is that it heals Aatrox for a portion of the damage he deals.<\/span><\/p>\n

Its active effect, on the other hand, allows Aatrox to dash, increasing his attack damage for a few seconds. This skill can also be charged up to 2 times and can be used with Darkin Blade simultaneously.<\/span><\/p>\n

R – World Ender<\/h3>\n

\"Aatrox's<\/p>\n

World Ender is Aatrox new ultimate skill. When activated, he unleashes all his might, becoming monstrous in size and taking flight on massive wings. As Aatrox transforms, he gains movement speed, and nearby enemies are affected by fear.<\/span><\/p>\n

Once transformed, Aatrox overall damage increases and he gains a Blood Well which stores health over this skill duration, allowing him to revive if ever he takes lethal damage while in his original form.<\/span><\/p>\n
