Smite has revealed a new god scheduled to be added in the 5.8 update. Chernobog will be the first Slavic god in the game. In Slavic mythology, Chernobog is the Lord of Darkness, the Dark God, the embodiment of evil and all of the world\u2019s bleak attributes. <\/span><\/p>\n

In Smite, Chernobog is a ranged, physical hunter that will bring a new challenge to the gamers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Let\u2019s check out his skills:<\/span><\/p>\n

Passive – Heart of Cold<\/h2>\n

\"Passive<\/p>\n

For every successful attack by Chernobog will impale the enemy with a brittle crystal. Upon reaching up to 3 stacks of Heart of Cold, the targeted enemy will explode for extra damage in an area around them.<\/span><\/p>\n

1st Ability – Crystallized Curses<\/h2>\n

\"1st<\/p>\n

Crystallized Curses enables Chernobog to conjures a large crystal of curses and then hurls it at a target location, dealing damage upon landing. After a few seconds, the crystalline curses will explode, dealing damage again and rooting any enemy in the area. <\/span><\/p>\n

2nd Ability – Vicious Barrage<\/h2>\n

\"2nd<\/p>\n

Upon activation, Chernobog fires an enlarged crystal shard that will pierce enemies and deal damage like a basic attack. This ability applies a single stack of Heart of Cold to all enemies it passes. It can also instantly detonate Crystallized Curses. <\/span><\/p>\n

Chernobog also gains Attack Speed for several seconds after using this ability.<\/span><\/p>\n

3rd Ability – Into Darkness<\/h2>\n

\"3rd<\/p>\n

Chernobog dashes forward with his wings in a shadowy form, dealing damage to enemies he passes through and slows them. If he collided with any wall, Chernobog would connect with it becoming a shadow on the wall for several seconds. At this state, he will be unable to hit or targeted during it. Chernobog will also gain a second dash to leave the wall or cancel the ability to leave early.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ultimate – Living Nightmare<\/h2>\n

\"Ultimate<\/p>\n

Living Nightmare is Chernobog\u2019s ultimate skill. During a brief channeling period, Chernobog summons shadows at the location of all enemies and then apply a stack of slow that lasts for 8 seconds. He can select any of his shadow clones to fly towards. Once he reaches the location, he will then take the place of his shadow, refresh his cooldowns, and temporarily obtain damage mitigations and extra movement speed. During the activation of this skill, Chernobog’s every attack will trigger Heart of Cold.<\/span><\/p>\n
