2018 may actually be the year for zombie-survival video games. It is a four-player co-op action FPS, where the player must fight the dead and the living to survive a post-apocalyptic world set in Robert Kirkman\u2019s The Walking Dead universe. The game has been in development for four years and will feature brand new storylines, characters, and enemies. It is said to feature a massive post-apocalyptic open world where the player must survive and fight against hordes of zombies called \u201cfreakers.\u201d The player takes the role of Deacon St. John, a former bounty hunter who prefers life on the road to wilderness encampments. To survive, he must scavenge, craft, and do his best to outrun the fast-evolving freakers. Aside from shooting zombies, players must scavenge for supplies to survive and teamwork to stay alive. It is said to feature three new maps, all with the same size with the original game. Its developers, Undead Labs, also stated that the game is massive compared to its predecessor.
