As you may have noticed, Overwatch has added a new support hero in their foster: Brigitte. She is a mechanical engineer who specializes in armor. She also happens to be the daughter of the weapon designer and defense-type hero, Torbj\u00f6rn. <\/span><\/p>\n

Although labeled as a support hero, Brigitte is actually a hybrid between a tank and support-type. Right now in the game, she possesses the highest amount of total health points with a total of 50 armor and 200 HP. This makes her an addition front-line hero to join your tank ally when rallying towards your enemies.<\/span><\/p>\n

And for today, we\u2019re going to give you some helpful tips on how you can optimize Brigitte\u2019s set of skills:<\/span><\/p>\n

Take advantage of her ability, Inspire.<\/h2>\n

Brigitte\u2019s first skill is called Inspire. This allows her to heal all her allies around her when using her other abilities, Rocket Flail and Whip Shot. The health she gives also increases over time. As long as her allies stay near her, Brigitte will be able to continuously heal them. This gives her team an upper hand during team fights.<\/span><\/p>\n

Use Rocket Flail and Whip Shot wisely.<\/h2>\n

Rocket Flail and Whip Shot are Brigitte\u2019s next two skills. Rocket Flail allows Brigitte to strike multiple enemies with a single swing. While Whip Shot deals damage and can knock the enemy away from her. During combat, Rocket Flail is a great weapon to attack as many enemies as possible. Whip Shot, on the other hand, is very useful in disrupting gank or protecting herself by knocking enemies off a cliff or keeping them off a choke point.<\/span><\/p>\n

Shield Bash can disrupt an enemy’s ultimate skill.<\/h2>\n

Once Brigitte\u2019s Barrier Shield is up, she can dash forward and stun the first enemy it hits. This can be a great stun when an enemy is activating his ultimate skill. You can also combine Barrier Shield with a melee attack and Whip Shot to do quick, massive damage before knocking them away. Shield Bash also allows Brigitte to save a teammate who is hooked, flash-banged and frozen by an enemy hero.<\/span><\/p>\n

You can use Rally as an offensive tool or protection tool.<\/h2>\n

The skill Rally, being Brigitte\u2019s ultimate ability, allows her to move faster and provides all nearby allies with armor until it’s removed from damage. This makes it a great offensive tool, giving your allies the armor to initiate team fights for a successful clash. It can also be a protection tool when your team in a difficult situation or at a disadvantage.<\/span><\/p>\n

Keep in mind of the threats.<\/h2>\n

Although Brigitte is a tank\/support hybrid, this doesn\u2019t make her invincible in the game. As of now, three main threats can significantly damage Brigitte. These threats include turrets such as Symmetra\u2019s Sentry Turrets, Tanks, and Snipers such as Widowmaker and Ana. Aside from these three, Sombra also poses a danger to Brigitte because her abilities are her entirely the source of usefulness.<\/span><\/p>\n
