Smite has introduced a new goddess in their roster of mythological figures, Discordia, the Goddess of Strife. Also known as the Greek goddess Eris, Discordia was best known after conjuring up a golden apple with the words \u201cfor the fairest.\u201d The same golden apple which would set Athena, Hera, and Aphrodite against one another, and ignite the Trojan War.<\/span><\/p>\n

And now, she has descended to the battlefields of Smite to reclaim her title once more like the Goddess of Strife and Discord.<\/span><\/p>\n

ABILITIES<\/h2>\n

Passive – Contest of Gods<\/h3>\n

\"Passive<\/p>\n

Contest of Gods is Discordia\u2019s passive skill. Discordia will continually compare herself and her teammates to see who the best is. Whichever god on her team deals the most damage to enemy gods, that god will then receive a power buff which scales off Discordia\u2019s level. <\/span><\/p>\n

1st Ability – Unruly Magic<\/h3>\n

Unruly Magic enables Discordia to send an orb of uncontrollable magic to a location that will damage any enemies it hits along the way. At that place it will then break down into 6 minor projectiles that will fire out in all directions, damaging enemies hit and bounce off of walls.<\/span><\/p>\n

2nd Ability – Strife<\/h3>\n

\"2nd<\/p>\n

Strife allows Discordia to create an area of Strife that will damage all hit enemies. If it hits two or more enemy gods at the same time, they will be afflicted by Madness for a second, forcing them to attack each other for additional damage. The same ability affects minions. If only a single target of one type is hit, then that target will then be rooted for a short duration of time.<\/span><\/p>\n

3rd Ability – Erratic Behavior<\/h3>\n

\"3rd<\/p>\n

Erratic Behavior allows Discordia to leap a short distance and then creates an area of confusion where she lands. Once she is inside the area, she goes stealth, gaining movement speed and causing her skills Unruly Magic\u2019s and Strife\u2019s cooldowns to reduce by an additional amount of time every 0.5 seconds she remains in the area. However, attacking from the area will reveal her. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ultimate – Golden Apple of Discord<\/h3>\n

\"Ultimate<\/p>\n

Golden Apple of Discord is Discordia\u2019s ultimate skill. She throws her Golden Apple of Discord which damages and then passes through minions. The spell can also bounce off walls. If the Apple of Discord hits an enemy god, it will damage them and force them to hold the Apple. Enemy gods holding the Apple will then become intolerable, causing them to be Crippled and Intoxicated. At the end of the duration, the Apple will then detonate, dealing damage and spreading its effects to any nearby gods.<\/span><\/p>\n
