In a previous article, we featured Mireska Sunbreeze a.k.a. The Dark Willow, the newest hero to enter the battlefields of Dota 2. Today, we\u2019re going to turn the spotlight to the other new hero that was released: Dont\u00e9 Panlin, the Pangolier.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Pangolier is a melee agility hero known for his brawling-oriented nature and aggressiveness. He is said to be one of the finest warriors in the world.<\/span><\/p>\n

ABILITIES<\/h2>\n

Swashbuckle<\/h3>\n

\"Swashbuckle\"<\/p>\n

Swashbuckle is a vector targeted skill. Once activated, Pangolier dashes along the target line, and then slashes all enemies in drawn direction with several quick swipes. His third ability, Heartpiercer also has a chance to activate from this damage.<\/span><\/p>\n

Shield Crash<\/h3>\n

\"Shield<\/p>\n

Pangolier jumps in the air and then slams back to the ground, causing damage to all enemies in a radius. For each enemy hero he hits, he gains an incoming damage reduction for short duration of time. Forward movement is also maintained if Shield Crash is used while his third skill Rolling Thunder is active, which can allow Rolling Thunder to clear walls or cliffs. <\/span><\/p>\n

Heartpiercer<\/h3>\n

Heartpiercer enables the Pangolier to read his enemies, deftly slipping his blade past their defenses. Each attack gives a chance to negate enemy armor and slow down the target for a duration, activating a short delay. <\/span><\/p>\n

Rolling Thunder<\/h3>\n

Rolling Thunder is Pangolier\u2019s ultimate skill. When activated, he curls into a magic-immune ball and then rolls out. When rolling, he moves at an increased speed and can also move through trees but has a decreased ability to turn. Striking enemies will knock them back, inflicting damage and then stunning them where they land. However, colliding with walls or cliffs will cause Pangolier a temporary pause as he reverses direction.<\/span><\/p>\n

Stop Rolling<\/h3>\n

\"Stop<\/p>\n

Stop Rolling once activated automatically stops Pangolier from rolling.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pangolier is one of the three original heroes created for Dota 2 including Monkey King and Dark Willow. He is part of the Dueling Fates Patch 7.07 and was released alongside Dark Willow. To check out his skills, here\u2019s a short video of his hero spotlight:<\/span><\/p>\n
