The 1080 Ti follows the GTX 1080 and Titan X Pascal and is rumored to be about 35% faster than the 1080 while slightly faster than the Titan X. However, what makes the 1080 Ti so desirable is its incredibly low price tag of $699. As comparison, the 1080 right now is $649 while the Titan X retails for around $1,200.

For the graphic cards specs, the 1080 Ti features 11 GB of GDDR5X memory, a 352-bit memory interface and 88 ROPs as compared to the Titan X’s 12 GB of GGDR5X, 394-bit interface, and 96 ROPs. As mentioned previously, the 1080 Ti’s specs are just a bit under the Titan X’s. One area where the 1080 Ti is better is that its memory runs at 11 GHz as compared to the Titan X’s 10 GHz which will give it a higher memory bandwidth. With overclocking, the GPU boost clock will see a 25% increase from its original 1.6 GHz.

With the unveiling of the 1080 Ti, NVIDIA has also announced a price drop in their other GPUs. The GTX 1080 will be dropped to $549 for a Founder’s Edition card while 1080s made by other manufacturers will be sold for $499, a $150 drop from its previous price. The GTX 1060 will also see a reduction in price as the 1080 Ti hits the market.

The GTX 1080 Ti page on the NVIDIA website can be found here.

Photo Credit: NVIDIA NVIDIA has recently announced their newest graphics card, the GTX 1080 Ti, which part of their 10th generation series of graphics cards.
