Spent $2500 on a PC. Paid for it on 11/20/18. Estimated ship was 12/6/18. Sat in warehouse state 3 weeks. Today still says estimated ship is 12/6. Today is 12/8. Contacted Support they said their behind on there production from holidays. Understandable but i'm entitled to know a new date. He told me estimated ship is now 12/11/18 but no guarantee....i told him i purchased this as a xmas present for someone. Said w.e fine we'll see how it goes. I got to check the status on the order page. Still shows 12/6/18 as estimated ship date. So either he was blowing smoke up my ass or they don't update their status page for orders. Which defeats the purpose of this. If this takes 5-6 weeks to get this system, i will most likely never buy from them again...i could have built it myself in 2 weeks including having everything shipped to me..

They definitely don't update order status online right away. That said, they are obviously getting hit hard with the holiday season. As multiple people have said, if you ordered anytime around the Black Friday sale, you're going to have to be patient, or go buy an off the shelf computer from a big box store. CP is only going to give you "estimates" and even then, the site may not reflect the new updated dates. It's hit or miss. If you dig through the forums, and go years back, you can see that customer service/communication/timely updates are not this company's strong points. But if you're patient, and you let them do their thing, it seems things work out more often than not.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I'm going to see how long it takes to get the PC. I'm actually going to be doing a youtube unboxing video of it. So i hope all the bad reviews are just bad shipping and really not the QC issues i've been reading all over. And hopefully give some good credit to Cyber. But i will definitely update this as we go through the process. Thanks again

Cyberpowerpc was never any good with updates. They are more into giving low prices than dealing with people when they cant keep up production.

Depends on the shipping method and yes things do unfortunately happen during the process, I personally learned to choose 1 day shipping and rush build (Usually) as to shorten the possible chance of something being delayed or happening during the process but anything is possible. If you received your tracking number considering they shipped it I would contact UPS and if they have no info for you I would then contact Cyber Power and probably be upset, but you have to keep in mind the shipping method and build option you chose. Considering no priority UPS method or especially the No Rush option I would not be surprised at all if it is taking as long as it is or subject to being pushed back a bit, and in regards to their updating from what I have seen they are usually pretty quick to update status although its usually at the end of the day.

NEVER use rush shipping with CP. They have always had issues with QC & CS. Give them the time they need.

The worst time to order from them is of course at X-mas. Their workload goes up and you may have to deal with back orders.

As stated you may see no movement, then one day in build and next out of build. The  get a notice from UPS of your tracking before CP updates their page. Nothing new here.

Your looking a not under 3 weeks off season and mostly 4 weeks until the last minute rush for X-mas.

I hear this a lot. "I should have built it". Issue with that is it's real hard to beat the pricing. Very doubtful you can match the price. Then if your time is not worth anything OK. Hopefully you don't damage something or have an issue, since you will be on your own.

I've built several and worked on many. I won't build again for my use. I have better things to do with my time and cash.
Remember valor, honor, independence, family & clan; I do whenever I hear the ceol mor, the "great music" of the Highland bagpipe. I swear upon the holy iron of my dirk that I will not forget.

You have to expect delays if you're ordering around the holidays. Everybody else is ordering too. I would not buy a custom PC except for Feb-Oct.

Just to update eveyone/anyone who cares. They literally Assembled it 12/11 and QC and Final QC on 12/11 too. Shipped it on the 12/12/18. So apparently once it gets out of warehouse it can literally take them 1 or 2 days to get it in the mail. So a Recap:

Ordered on 11/20/18
Warehouse 11/21/18
Assembled 12/11/18
QC/Final QC 12/11/18

So i'll update everyone on the packaging and receiving portion next. And maybe even post the unboxing video if peoples interested. Thanks again!
