http://www.bestbuy.com/site/cyberpowerpc-gamer-ultra-desktop-amd-fx-series-8gb-memory-amd-radeon-rx-460-1tb-hard-drive-black/5615009.p?skuId=5615009&cmp=RMX

First time I bought this pc through best buy graphics card did not respond to monitor. I went back to best buy and exchanged it.

Second time I spent 4 hours downloading counter strike global offensive and setting up my account to plug my mic in and have the computer crash to black screen non responsive. I went back to best buy and exchanged it.

Third time I spent 4 hours downloading CSGO and setting up my account. It worked! until I tried to alt+tab the computer crashed. non responsive. I called geek squad and they said ya that happens some times. I politely told them they are silly. MY 7 YEAR OLD VIRUS TORRENT FILLED LAP TOP RUNNING 99% CPU CAN ALT TAB OUT OF CSGO! (sigh)

This computer ran my game exactly how I wanted for a great price. 130 FPS mouse and keyboard that came with it were awesome.

I went back to best buy on tunnel road in asheville NC and asked them to help me get a computer that would work for about the same price. They failed to accommodate me so I got my money back and left.

After shopping some more and realizing the only store around here that carries pre built gaming pc is best buy. I went to the best buy in Arden NC. (I don't want to wait a week for shipping from a different web site)

I told the Arden best buy employees what had happened and they got me the same model PC paid for 2 day shipping for me and it should be here tomorrow.

To top it off cyber power sent me an email asking me to do a review. so I typed out a detailed review like this one and went i submitted it told me error and i had to start all over.

cyber power has failed me time and time again. my computer buddies tell me they are great and i should stick with it. once i got the computer running it was exactly what i wanted.

so here we go for the fourth time tomorrow.

I will make sure windows 10 is fully updated and pray that it works.

Any body have any suggestions?

the reason that most of us order from the website is: pcs in the store are line produced and you get whatever power supply and ram that is available. that is why they are cheaper. when you custom order a pc you pick the components that you want and get help from the forums (customers who have dealt with cyberpower) to get the best build for your needs at the lowest price.

Biggest suggestion. NEVER buy an off the shelf CP system. Had you looked around the message board you would have seen this.

Primary reason, check your PSU, if you have a "standard" PSU they are junk, have caused all sorts of issues including frying systems. Corsair (non-builder grade) EVGA, XFX, Coolmaster, Thermaltake are fine. If you have one get it out of your system.

Very often  when gaming and crashing it is common to be a driver issue, not really the system. There are many free programs to isolate and see if that is the issues, before changing a GPU or returning a system. That's basic computer management. CP has custom systems, not the Dell or HP cookie cutters and one should be able to do basic problem solving.

Did you run "memtest" to see if the RAM may have errors, Bad sectors can cause all sorts of issues.

You new people, it's a good idea to come here and start a thread, post what system you are looking at, what your max budget is and what the system is for. The membership will chime in with suggestions for a solid build and may even save you some cash with checkout codes.

Thanks for  your honest replies.

Personally I am not interested in building a PC.

If I cannot buy a PC off the shelf that works sufficiently I will not buy one at all.

I don't think manufacturer should sell PCs with out proper power supplies etc or at least give notice that vendor is providing potentially incorrect parts.

I don't want to have to change my PSU or GPU I want to buy a computer that I can play counter strike on at 100 FPS.

Doesn't sound like too much to ask for. I thought 500$ would buy me that but maybe I am mistaken.

I work for circuit board manufacturing company and know what it takes to send out quality products and its very tedious.

If the fourth CYBERPOWER PC I order does not come equipped to run csgo with ability to ALT+TAB when I desire i will have to buy from a different company.

I am buying a pre built pc because I do not know how to change PSU GPU update drivers etc and i'm not interested/too busy to learn. I just wanna play csgo at 100 FPS

I think you misunderstood The other people who responded. If you buy a PC from this website, it comes fully assembled, just with better parts that you can pick prior to it being built. It takes longer, but in the end, it is a far better system than the ones at best buy or walmart.

Sorry your expectations are not met.

$500.00 is not realistic to get a good gaming machine. You are not up to speed as far as component pricing. A good GPU for gaming can cost very near your complete budget alone.

As far as an "ALT TAB" ability that can't be blamed on the system. I would look at programming, I have seen a few mentions of this regarding Windows 10. SO not just a "CP" system issue.

Man your to busy to update drivers??? Are you to busy to put gas in your car, have tires changed, look at your oil or go to the grocery store? This is an integral part of operating and system.

Realistically you need to look at $1,000.00 to $1,400.00 to get an upper end system that will blow through games and then part of that responsibility is to have the time to clean it and keep it up to date.

Just go and buy an X-box.

A $500 "gaming machine" is no such thing. This will just end up costing you more in repairs and upgrades to make it run properly. As mentioned, a decent GPU alone will cost you anywhere from $250-$500, depending on how much performance you want.  When you add in the Case, CPU, PSU, MOBO, RAM, a SSD and HD, and proper cooling so those components don't fry, the cost adds up.

If you can afford a budget around $1,000, the community here can post you a nice entry level rig that can handle most games and last for several years.

It's expensive yes, but brings your gaming experience to a whole new level!

Also, if desired, you'd need a 144hz monitor to get 100 FPS for 1080p gaming as a traditional monitor will limit you to 60 fps. The ACER GN246HL is on sale at amazon for $188 (normally $200)

Good luck sir!
