I am still waiting for the 5850. No updates have been made to the order status. The ship date of 11/18 has remained the same since I placed the order. I placed my order on 11/3 and received a call the next day asking if I wanted to wait 3 weeks for the card to come in, so I think both the 5850 and 5870 are due in on the 25th.

Yeah, I'm on for 11/25 also.
But how guaranteed is it this doesn't get moved to December, anybody? |

That is fantastic news Lost. Did they update you on your status or did it just jump to shipped. I wonder how many they have because the guy I spoke with 2 days ago said they haven't received them yet. But I still hope they have enough for everyone.

I just used the online chat to ask if the 5850's were in stock. Bobby said that the 5850's are in stock but that the 5870 supplies were unreliable. I asked about my order since I haven't seen an update. He said he would need to call me back since the warehouse is very busy. I told him that wouldn't be necessary since I would rather have them building my rig than checking where it was. I'll just wait for the order status to update.

I have been waiting for a 5870 and today it has been updated today as being assembled and now in QC. So I guess it goes according to when you ordered. I ordered 10/27

I ordered 10/26 but the order status tool still reports it as on backorder (for the 5870s) - Kind of hoping in the tool being wrong at this point :0 Glad to hear they received some cards and are moving as fast as they can. |

Friend ordered 10/24, order status just updated yesterday saying Assembly Date was on 11/18, QC was 11/19, and Final QC was also 11/19. No update on shipping date, yet, and expected ship date still shows as 11/6. Was waiting on the 5870.
Looks like some progress is being made, still not sure how many cards they got in, though... Edited by Gamree - Today at 5:04pm |

How can they fit in a 72-hour burn in if the assembly date was 11/18 and final QC 11/19?

I have heard of people having QC and Final QC on the same day so I don't know where the 72hr burn in came from. I have asked for CP to give a detailed explanation of their QC process and they haven't answered yet. I don't know why there is no detail to what exactly they do.
