Just wondered if anyone lately with a new "Rig" has run new benchmarks?

I will be getting my new computer tomorrow.."I Hope"..and everything is in one piece.

So will be using 3DMark06 to see how it stacks up with the new ATI 5850 card.

Let me know if anyone lately with a new CP computer has run theirs thru and got the benchmarks.

I know the one they sent to G4 "Attack of the show" was the higest they had tested on teh show including Alienware and Reactor Extreme.

Wow, even I don't believe this!  Big%20smile

The GA-P55A-UD4P has a feature called Smart QuickBoost to OC the CPU through Windows.  I set it to Twin Turbo, giving me 3.80 GHz (idles about 46C).  I clocked my XFX 4890 is set at 950/1000 GPU and 1135/1200 memory.  BTW, the GPU, since it is factory OC (paid $20 more), **EDIT** it has not just two 6-pin power connectors but a 6-pin and 8-pin ** power connector (I think that helps)  The G.Skill timimg is 7-8-7-24 **EDIT**(paid $15 more than 9-9-9-24)**, which autodetected when I set the BIOS to Profile1.

Yup, that's right 3DMark06 of 21584....Clap....  You can see the specs are mine (860/4890/XP)

So I'm done!  No need to benchmark any more....  Gonna roll it back to just single turbo and back off a little on the GPU speed (I don't think I could stress test at these levels), and just enjoy.  LOLBig%20smile

Aside from spending too much on HDDs, I couldn't be happier.

Thanks to everybody for your help and support.

Very nice Motorious.  That's pretty damn good for having a 4890.  The CPU score looks very impressive.

I'm having difficulties trying to break 21000, though I hit ~20500 this morning.

Also - please do us all a favor & get rid of Norton

Well...  I've already bought Norton and can't return it.  Besides, I like Norton; I've used their products for a long time and they have worked well for me.

As I like to say around work.... "if that is the only thing I did wrong, then I'm doing fine."
