Our system was built with Corsair's HX-1000 power supply. There were no issues with wire length as we were able to connect everything you see in the pictures.

Is there any point in adding the NZXT temp and fan control display if the unit has "Adjustable fan speed control for performance mode or silent mode." as stated in your list of features ??

Twinax, thanks for pointing this out.
We installed the NZXT fan control unit into this system for multiple reasons: 1) While the Thermaltake Element V chassis includes a built-in fan controller, the fan controller controls ALL fans with the knob. Having the NZXT fan controller allows users to manually adjust individual fans accordingly. 2) The Element V chassis fan controller unit comes with a limited number of fan headers to connect fans into. Having the NZXT fan controller provides connections for up to 5 additional fans. 3) Lastly the NZXT provides a simple and fast read for temperature and fan spseeds. It also makes the system stand out ;) Edited by @power - Today at 11:54am |
