I'm a pretty big noob when it comes to this stuff, so, if it sounds like I am, it's because I definitely am, haha! I just recently got a pretty powerful gaming rig. Everything is perfect about this PC except for one little thing....the hard drive. Actually, the hard drive, in itself, is absolutely amazing (it's an OCZ Agility 3 SATA III); it's the small space of 60 GB's that is really bugging me. At first, I figured I could get by with 60 GB, but I was too ignorant to take into account that a good 25 GB's would, alone, be used up by just the OS, itself. I'm not wanting to just run games on this rig. I'm planning on turning it into a recording rig for my music, as well. With that being said....I'm definitely going to need more than 60 gigs....errrrr....30 gigs. I have an external hard drive, but, as we all know, the external is STILL not the main hard drive. So, due to all this, I am looking for a pretty good secondary HDD to back up my SATA III. I am also looking for used drives as well, because of the cheaper price point. I just need to know what, specifically, I need to be looking for and if my PC can handle it.
