After about 2 weeks I saw that the status of my order had not progressed from the warehouse. I called and found out that my temp control unit was on backorder. When I did get the unit, they didn't sent me the right temp control unit but a different one that controls 5 fans instead of 4 but is not touch screen. I didn't worry about it because i was just happy to have my new computer. I installed norton antivirus and office 2010 on it before I started having problem. The harddrive started making weird sounds and after about 10 min, i would receive the BSOD with 0x000000f4 error. I contacted Cyberpower about it and in the end I had to ship them the harddrive back than waited 2 week or so before i received a new one from them. I installed the harddrive and used the recover disk to install Windows on it. In the install any time it had to reboot it would reboot without any UBS support so i would had no keyboard or mouse so i would have to manually restart until i would have support. After windows was installed i still had 1 unidentified USB device and still had random BSOD errors . I tried updating all my drivers and the bios from the Asus website with no change. I went away for the holiday's before i got the time to start troubleshooting it again. In my latest troubleshooting i have discover the unidentified item is the 12 in 1 card reader but still need to find driver because it has no company name on it. The powersupply is toast because i tested the voltages ands found the 12v rail down to about 10 volts. I did buy a powersupply that has the wattage it need from the walts calucator. I decided that i don't need more headaches with sending it back too so i spent $140 on a thermaltake 850Watt PSU that can handle the load for the videocard i have. So after all of that, I took everthing out of the loop to go step by step ( videocard, 12 in 1 cardreader, wireless card ). With just the motherboard I reset the default bios, changed the motherboard battery, and formated the harddrive from my windows 7 laptop. Starting fresh I got windows to where it needs to reboot to complete the install and it crashes with 0x000007b BSOD. Tring to restart manually it doesn't turn on at all unless I leave it with power to the motherboard for about 4 hours and even then it boots up with the video blank and no USB suppoort for keyboard & mouse. $1400 + PSU $140 + $10 shipping cost back for harddrive + $5 for battery. I now own a $1555 dollar paper weight, never can get anybody on the phone for help, and 4 months of headaches. If someone knowns something I don't, please help!!!
